{Memories from the corners of my mind}
Of the way we were!
Amy, Wendy, Katie and Jennie
Easter Sunday - 1983 (ish)

Wendy and Amy - Easter Sunday 1976
While growing up, every year at Easter, my Mom would sew my sisters and me a new dress. Oftentimes, we had matching gowns.

PS: It’s the laughter we remember, the love and yes – all the beautiful clothes
handmade by mom.

Cheers to the way we were and who we are today!

Happy Easter :)

A Bicycle Thing ...

I absolutely love antique shops! I can get lost in them for hours (sometimes I do). I often wish the items could talk and tell us their stories. Can you imagine what the above bike would say?
I can!

Someday, I hope to have an old antique bike and I’ll make sure to put a license plate on it! I wonder if there was a law in the 40’s requiring owners to license their bicycles. I tried to Google it but couldn’t find any specifics on that one. If you know anything about the olden 'bike days' and licenses for bicycles – please let me know.

Cheers to the old stuff that helps us remember the ways things used to be ...
