Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm in charge of the pies this year ... I made pumpkin pies, lemon meringue, and apple. Also, yesterday I was able to spend the afternoon with my sweet mom and we made up a pumpkin roll.

As I was cooking, I couldn't help but think - "How blessed we are to have a holiday just for giving thanks!" Today, is truly one of my favorite days of the entire year.

It feels good to slow down and make all this beautiful food in celebration of our freedom and for the blessings that so abundantly decorate our lives.

Dinner: 2 pm / pie: around 3 pm - bowling around 5.
Up next: Basketball in the backyard.
