{Memories from the corners of my mind}
Of the way we were!
Amy, Wendy, Katie and Jennie
Easter Sunday - 1983 (ish)

Wendy and Amy - Easter Sunday 1976
While growing up, every year at Easter, my Mom would sew my sisters and me a new dress. Oftentimes, we had matching gowns.

PS: It’s the laughter we remember, the love and yes – all the beautiful clothes
handmade by mom.

Cheers to the way we were and who we are today!

Happy Easter :)

I don't think I've ever seen those pictures of you guys. SO SWEET! I can't believe how much time and effort had to go into making those dresses...

Oh, how I can relate! I have 2 sisters of my own and we've had countless dresses and nighties hand-made with love to make us all look like clones of each other. Happy Easter!

Wow!!! Mom worked SO hard to make all those dresses and fix all that hair. What a fun photo...I was so cute and chubby. :-) Good times.

What talented mother you have! I wish I could sew dresses for my girls. It reminds me of the dresses my grandma made for her girls.

I love Easter! It's hard having the same feelings for Easter with 2 boys. No Easter dresses, though they definitely wouldn't be homemade. I am very deficient in that department. But such good times growing up. And what our parents did for us. Those dresses are so cute.... I expect big things for Lauren tomorrow. Happy Easter!

Erica - These photo were before your time :) ... Jennie, I love the cute chubbiness you had as a kid. So funny! Jennica I didn't sew Lauren's dress (bought it) and it was perfect. I look back on my youth and am in AWE at the time and energy my Mom put unto making gorgeous clothes for all us girls! There were times when I didn't totally appreciate it - but looking back, I feel nothing but gratitude and love for my childhood and parents. :)
