Wednesday Wisdom: 20 seconds of insane courage

Love this line from "We Bought a Zoo" - All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage and I promise you something great will come of it.

Can you think of a time you were insanely courageous? I can. I was in my pajamas in my front room and I called the President of a publishing company to ask him to consider publishing my book. (Yup, that took guts). Twenty seconds of pure courage.

Did he publish my book? No. Three days after that phone call, he called me back to hire me as his publicist.

Courage. It matters.
